Draughtsman

This is a full-time on-site role for a Draughtsman Designer/Detailer. Who has experience with SHEET METAL. The Draughtsman Designer will be responsible for creating and designing Sheet Metal Cabinets that hold servers for the IT industry, producing detailed drawings, collaborating with Engineers and Draughtsman team, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. The role also involves utilizing computer-aided design SOILDWORKS software and working closely with design and project teams.

Designer is tasked to designed and draw up plans and schematics.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and presenting of all required drawings and schematics.

• Revise drawings to accommodate changes and improvements.

• Liaison with sales reps ensuring clients requirements are met.

• Weight Calculations and Load distribution and ensuring drawing specifications to ISO standards.

Qualifications

• SOLID WORKS experience

• SHEET METAL design experience (building Cabinets for IT industry)

  
  

• Experience in creating and designing sheet structures

• Ability to produce detailed drawings and adhere to specifications

• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

• Experience with architectural and engineering principles is a plus

• Certifications related field is preferred or Draughting Diploma

• Certificates for SolidWorks

Industry Experience:

• Sheet Metals / Cabinets / IT Engineering / Industrial

Key Skills:

 Plan, Design and Represent all required and requested drawings.

 Designing and Managing Bills of Material/Quantity.

 Project Managing.

 Quality Checks and Rectifications according to Industry Standards.

 Designing and upkeep of drawing libraries.

 Customer and Supplier Liaisons.

Computer literate and programs:

 Solid Works (Advance) - Required

 Full Microsoft Office Function and Basic IT function (Advance)
